Dedicated to those individuals with their snouts in the trough
Welcome to SNOUTS IN THE TROUGH A site dedicated to those not so lovely human beings with their snouts in the trough. Many years ago Gough Whitlam saved me from Vietnam and for many years he was my hero, then I found out he instigated a thing called the LIMA declaration. After this Fraser bought it in. What is this thing you may ask, that both Labor and Liberals wanted brought in?
You may not believe this but it was a policy to shut down Australian Industry and Agriculture and import from overseas !!
Even today it would seem the only long term agendas both parties have is to continue with the destruction of industry ,agriculture and the environment, selling public assets and and even borrowing from overseas to keep us in a false debt we shouldn't have. This debt by the way is done on purpose so we owe these countries. We are already being sued by countries for agreements signed by corrupt and incompetent politicians, what is next? Does anyone know if these "mandates" are legal? Just because a party gets elected in dosn't mean they can sell off public assets! (i'm sure its unconstitutional) This only means they were not as bad as the other party at the time, it's been a long time since Australians have thought either party was working for a long term solution or in the publics interest.
I am not sure what the answer is, make politicians more responsible for their actions, maybe if they are found to be corrupt they even lose their pensions? But realistically not many politicians would vote for something like this. Especially the long term politicians that are only worried about themselves.
I believe several politicians whom have been found guilty of corruption are still receiving their huge pensions! Penalties for corruption should be retrospective and incarceration and fines should be options, including sales of properties and investments.
